Flower Mound High School Baseball

Our neighbors, the Ashleys, have a son who starts on the FMHS varsity baseball team (he also starts on the varsity football team). FMHS is the #1 team in the state and the #7 team in the nation. Jared and I went to the game last night and it was a lot of fun. Their starting pitcher had a few professional scouts watching and he was throwing 90-95 MPH.

I have to say, we have some great neighbors all around us. They all have good values and their kids are well-behaved. This little girl is one of the funniest girls I have ever met. She doesn't have ONE shy bone in her body. For those of you who visit us here in Dallas, you have to meet her. You will laugh so hard. Today she asked if she could "pet" the baby.

Rowan has to drive the 4-wheeler because Audrea doesn't steer. She just hits the gas and goes in a straight line. It is so cute when they ride together. She holds on to Rowan around the waist and he flies around the backyard.

Before you were born, I had many thoughts of you.

"A little girl, what should I do?"

I think of things you'll want to know,

Like how rain is made and how flowers grow.

Some things you'll learn without being shown,

By falling and rising all on your own.

I can't help but wonder why it was me,

Blessed to receive you from your home Heavenly.

You steal my breath and fill my heart,

And I know that we will never part.

Because it is with each other we will grow,

To live for eternity in our Celestial chateau.
